Quiz Quest Arena

1. Introduction

Quiz Quest Arena is designed to be played in teams of 2 to 4 players, with a maximum of 16 teams. However, you can also play without teams. For the best experience, it's recommended that the team leader uses a computer to control the main character of the team. While someone is controlling the player, other team members can connect their own device of their choice (computer, cell phone, or tablet) to the game character to follow the action. Control can be exchanged between team members during the course of the game.

2. Joining a Game

To join a game, you need the room code provided by the user who created the game. For information on how to create a game, please visit our game creation guide.

3. Team Setup

The team leader must select the main character for the team from the character screen and enter a team name while waiting for other team leaders to join. Please note that using inappropriate team names is prohibited by our terms and conditions.

4. Starting the Game

The game will start when the creator clicks the start button. It's recommended to wait for all team leaders to select their characters and enter team names before starting. There is a limit of 16 playable characters.

5. Joining an Existing Team

Once the game has started, other team members can join by entering the game code and selecting "join existing team". They must then enter a name that will be recognized by the team leader so that he/she can let them join the team.

6. Game Interface

The game screen displays various information:

• Sword, key, and coin icons show your current inventory.
• Answering questions may earn you more items, but rewards vary.
• Keys are rarer and harder to find.

7. Using Items

Detailed Explanation of Item Usage:

• Swords are used to fight monsters and other players. Small monsters require 1 sword, larger ones need 2.
• In player encounters, the one with more swords can defeat the other and steal coins.
• Keys open locked doors, often hiding great rewards.
• Coins determine your team's rank on the leaderboard. The team with the most coins wins!

8. Answering Questions

You can collect new questions by finding and reading signs that are scattered across the dungeon. The top-left corner shows your correct answers and remaining questions. Incorrect answers result in no rewards and a waiting period before the question reappears.

9. Navigation and Teamwork

Use left and right arrows on the game menu to navigate questions. If you're stuck, try another question. Remember, the game is designed for teamwork - use your teammates' knowledge to your advantage!

To move around in the game, you can use either:

• Left mouse button clicking on the desired location
• Arrow keys on your keyboard (up, down, left, right)

Both methods will allow you to navigate through the dungeon, interact with game elements, and explore the game world.
